As a conversation piece, HOW ARE YOU/I’M GOOD is presenting a sculptural interpretation of the walls put up through casual conversation. The sculpture is inspired by and referencing abstract color fields (an art form I am a fan of) this is a sculpture that can physically divide viewers, or block a person from seeing something else in the space this work occupies. As a metaphor for social constructs, this piece is not meant to be something explored once casually, but I invite viewers to dive into the meaning and intent of surface conversation as one might dive into a color field.
