The Threshold Sculptures are directly blending functional design and everyday objects with abstraction. Sometimes installed with other works on or adjacent to them like a mock installation of some interior design franchise, these works are meant to explore design as if it was all some malleable abstraction.
This piece is an amalgamate of the object, the furniture and the decoration all blended together in one organic form.
